LEARNING ALONE & TOGETHER

Learning alone makes it difficult for me because it’s just awkward and I don’t have enough help with whatever I’m learning. Also it depends which group you’re put in because some groups will help out with anything. Others won’t help out and make u do everything that’s is needed to be done also they would take credit for your hard work while the did nothin. With a group I have a chance to express my opinion about what we are doing and to help out people that need help with things that ik bout

MY BIG QUESTION/NOVEMBER

One of the biggest questions I have Is what happens when u die. What happens does everything go black, do u go to heaven/ hell what happens. Also every time we die in our sleep we wake up because our brain doesn’t know how death is. We might never know because there are many theories but which one is correct. Also when we talk why do we hear one voice and when we record ourselves we have a different voice which is the one that people hear.

MY MEMORY OF READING

We are reading about a man who’s Jean valjean who is denied hospitality wherever he goes. He is denied because he was a convict because of stealing food. He was denied everywhere excepts the bishops house he receives him as if he was his brother. He doesn’t denied anyone hospitality no matter who they are. Rn we are in the part where they are having supper with Jean Valjean.

LES MIS & THE FRENCH REVOLUTION

Two connections that I know that connect the French Revolution to les miserables is the poverty that people lived in. There were people living in poverty and they there were people who helped out just like M. Myriel helped out the poor who were probably still affected from the French Revolution because everything has happened shortly after the French Revolution had ended. Another thing is probably the opposite is the king Louis to M. Myriel because the king would do the not care what happened to the peasants he would just treat the as if the were nothing and take their money. M. Myriel cared about what the people said and he would give them money to help the out.

LES MIS TODAY

Three connections I have that I’ve seen in modern life that are related to les miserables is the way that shelters try to help the poor by giving them things that they need which is like M. Myriel who who helps out the poor but he helps out everyone the shelter helps out the poor only. Another example is how the government tries to help out people who’ve been hurt economically by the government itself or by something else. That’s all I could think of from the top of my head right now but if I come across something else I would remember to post it again

Les Mis Part 1 Summary

Les miserable part 1 was about a man who had everything that the world had he wasn’t much of a religious guys, His name was ___ Myriel. One day he meet a man who was Napoleon. Myriel stared at him and he asked him what he was looking at and he responded “ I’m a great man and I’m looking at an even greater one” those words impacted Napoleon which caused myriel to change. When he went home he changed from his old habits he turned into a bishop who. He became a bishop because of one conversation he had with Napoleon that really impacted him.      M. Myriel was a bishop who was so generous he would give the people who needed help all they needed and more. He would give all the money he earned to the poor and other money he got he would give to the poor aswell. He would even take money away from himself the little bit he had to the poor which sometimes left him hungry but would get the respect from the whole town. Every one knew who he was because he would receive everyone as if they

Notes.

Jean Val Jean is a man looking for hospitality and is denied everywhere he goes just because he did something. He goes from an inn to another and they kick him out they won’t let him stay there or get food. He is even denied to getting into the jail he was looking for a meal and a place to sleep.  Soon there left to go sleep in front of a building where a lady tells him why is he sleeping in the stone. He responds angerly that he knocked at every house but has been denied hospitality. She says that she should not at that house which happens to to M. Myriels house.

Notes 11-13-18

We read about Monseigneur Bienvenu giving everything he has and everything he can give to the poor and to people who need and still felt like he didn’t fit in.  When he would get people who were sent to help him the people would try to get to another bishop because they believe that they would go poor just by helping everyone out. My definition of success is being happy doing what I want to do.  There was one basketball coach who worked at UCLA and took his team to several championships. He had one method which was the pyramid of success which would let the players know what are there advantages and disadvantages. His definition of success was “Success is the self satisfaction that is the direct result of peace and mind in knowing that you have done your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming”. His definition of success said that doing your best to make you feel accomplished and successful in your mind.

CAN INTELLECTUAL OPPOSITES ATTRACT?

The most important part of there conversation to me was when they were talking about a kid and why he would be treated differently just because he was some a man who was part of the National Assembly and helped bring down the monarchy and ended many live with it too. The bishop seemed likes she disliked G_____ because his mood changed from being kind to everyone to be kind of fun like to the man.

Get to know me

Victor Hugo talks about M. Myriel a lot to show what type of person he is and what he does. He talks about him because he might do something later on in the book that would change something about him or something will happen to him that will change what’s going on in the book. He introduce two more characters to show the character of M. Myriel they talk about him and help us see what type of person M. Myriel is.

Les Mes Gets My Vote

The French Revolution could’ve been less tragic if the people had the chance to vote. Everything used to be voted on but all the votes were unfair because all the peasants had to vote on one thing because all of them equal one vote. The king would do what ever he wants just because he wants to he didn’t care about what the peasants said or did. The French Revolution could’ve been been easier for everyone calmed people down and made them feel like they were Raquel just by being part of a important vote.

What’s This All About

M. Myriel is a Bishop who care about sveryone who comes to him and to people he goes to. At first he was a man of the world and after one talk to Napoleon his life changed forever. He soon became a man that anyone could trust because he was so kind to everyone. M. Myriel was also a wise man because he would never argue with anyone but he would find a way to change minds. The bishop would never lock his door to let everyone in who wanted his guidance or needed his help. He believed that locking his doors would be bad. His sister and friend would worry about not locking the  door because someone might go in and steal them. Soon they gained the confidence he had and didn’t worry as much.

What A Character

5 characteristic of M. Myriel was that he was nice, loving, caring, helpful, generous . M. Myriel was a nice person to everyone he met. He was loving to everyone that needed help and he wanted everyone to feel love that didn’t have it. He cared about how the people at the hospital felt because he  traded with them because the hospital was small and his house was big so he wanted to switch with them for the patients to have a bigger house. He helped the poor by giving them all the money he had.  He was a generous by giving all his money and even giving the little money he always had to true poor.

M. Myriel Pg 18-20

the chapter we read was about M. Myriel and what he does on his free time. He is in the garden gardening which he call which he call "the spirit of the garden". M. Myriel eats breakfast until lunch which is brunch. After he ate he would go for a walk and he would go everywhere with his violet cloak. He would go visit the poor when he was called but when no one called he would go visit the rich. then at noon he would have dinner with his daughter. after having supper he would talk with Mademoiselle Baptisime  and Madame Maglorie. then he would go to his room to write about thing that he fells that is important.
