Cosette

Today we were reading Les Mis and we read how Fauntine had her child named Cosette and that she left her in a strange home where she got taken care of badly and how she was left there for almost 3 years and she was treated like a slave at the age of 5. Then we were thinking and we believe that the girl on the cover of the book is Cosette because it talks about how her face was no longer beautiful and it was ugly and her eyes showed sadness all those descriptions describe the girl in the cover of the book.

READING AND THINKING TOGETHER

It's one thing to read a book on your own.  But when you share your thinking with others, some interesting thing happens.  I work in a literature circle with 5 other people.  On Monday we are going to try to catch up with our work and try and catch up with our reading as well.

HOW TO KEEP YOURSELF MORE SECURE ON THE INTERNET

Q: Recommend Security Strategies To Your Readers. My Response: tru not to fall for the messages that say that they’ll give you free stuff in exchange for personal information. There are many scammers out there that want to take money away from you. Also do not take offers that they give you threw the phone because my mom once bought some caseta that help you speak English. She bought it and then soo. The started saying that she didn’t pay full price and that if she doesn’t pay 1k she’ll be arrested. My mom being scared that they’ll deport her if she gets the cops called on her paid it and later realized it was a big mistake. That’s is why it’s impor to keep information private.

THOSE WHO DO NOT WEEP, DO NOT SEE

Q:  What do you think people should care more about in 2019 America?  Explain the issue, why it matters, and why you think people should be more mindful. My Opinion: Something that people care about is money, work, economy, and the thought of them trying to make everyone happy. Also everyone cares about what others say about them they take it up the wrong way, like people get mad because they say something about who they are, where they come from or what gender they are. For example I don’t make fun of people because they are related to someone bad or because they are from a different country or religion. The reason I don’t say anything is because I don’t want people thinking that because I’m Mexican everyone is going to think that we are the same. Many people think that way like there were bad people who did bad things and instead of blaming them for what they did they blamed the people who come from that place and the religion they’re from. Everybody should start looking ...

TODAY'S LES MIS NOTES

CONNECTIONS: back then they also had the mentality to wake up early with the saying early bird gets the worm. They would wake up early and have a breakfast and talk bout stuff

Paul Simon “Graceland”

Paul wrote the song Graceland to show how it was fun to write. He went around the world getting different ways to write a song with other artists in the world. He had fun writing the song with other people that were in it. Grace land is an american literature because it talks about coming to get her and how many types of song there are

My thoughts on strike

The strike in LA was big because there were teachers who went to protest for there school to get more funding for the schools to be a better place for the students to learn. Many need more teachers because the schools are full and teachers have full classes throughout the day. I believe that the strike is a way for the teachers to help out their schools out but then they leave their students unattended in their class watching a movie with a sub instead of teaching them to be someone in life. It’s a good and bad thing at the same time because they might be successful and get what they want or be unsuccessful and everything is a waste of time.

WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?

Love is something that people say is a secret ingredient in making food. Love is something that is believed to make food taste better. I reallly never thought about love when I cooking or baking something.
