MR. NICE GUY

Q- We often think about kind actions in terms of how they affect other people -- but what do these moments offer the people who DO the kind things?  Can you become a nicer person by acting nice?  Please explain. Response- being nice to someone is a great feeling which could be described as being nicer b/c I would want someone to do it again which is great. I like being kind to others b/c it makes them happy and it makes me happy b/c I know that I did something good for that person and that is a great feeling. Being nicer is probably that one feeling that someone has when the do something nice for someone else.

RECIPE FOR A HAPPY LIFE

Q- What are the ingredients for a happy adulthood?  How much does this depend on one's childhood A- having a happy adulthood is having a fun childhood knowing that you did all the things you’ve wished u had done while young and not regretting it while being an adult. The childhood is when everyone has a chance to do all the things they won’t be able to do when they are an adult. It would be a boring adulthood just thinking of all the things that you wanted to do while a child and wished you had done but not being able to do it as an adult.

TRIAD OF GOOD, EVIL, & JUSTICE

Q- What do you predict will happen between Javert, Fantine, and Jean Valjean?  A- they would get into an arguement again b/c Javert might still have a little bit of Hatrid towards Jean Valjean b/c he helped out a criminal and they would get into a arguement.

LES MIS ISN'T FUNNY

Q-Why do you think Victor Hugo doesn't use more humor in Les Mis? A- Victor Hugo doesn’t use humor to show that their wasn’t any thing that would make the people laugh back then b/c it was a time of crisis and there weren’t any times that people would take a joke.

WHEN THE PAST IS PRESENT

Q-Do you think Jean Valjean managed to put his past behind him?  Explain your answer and support your points with evidence from the book  Responce- Jean Valjean was able to put his past behind him but life would bring it back to him. When Jean Valjean M. Madeline would be helping out the people from the village he was in, he would give and give and people would think that something was wrong with him but they accepted him for the new person he had become. But then their was a man named Champmathieu who was wrongfully acused of being Jean Valjean b/c he stole some apples. M. Madeline went to the court where the trail for Champmathieu was in progress and he testified that he was the real Jean Valjean and that he had changed from that convict he once was.

HAVE TO VERSUS WANT TO

What's the difference between agreeing to complete work for each other, and being told what to do for homework?  A: the difference is that we would want to do what we aren’t told to do which is kinda rare to happen. Doing hw is just b/c it’s for a grade and many times it really important so many people do it. I like doing the blog b/c I get to say my opinion of topics that I find interesting but sometimes I don’t get to do it b/c I’m busy doing other hw.

HOW YOU KNOW WHAT I KNOW

I remember mostly everything I read just that I can’t remember things that I don’t understand like if we skip ahead a few pages I don’t understand what’s going on even though it’s a small page I can’t remember it and I get lost.
