STAYING POWER

What stays with you after you read?  What doesn't?  
Something that stays with me when I read is the character, plot, and setting. I try to remember those parts of the story because they are the main things in the story that matter the most and then I would be able to figure out what’s going on in the story. 
Something that doesn’t stay with me in a story is the beginning because it’s really hard for me to concentrate because I feel that I have to read the whole book but by a few chapters I am so into the book that I want it to keep on going.

Essay Du Jean Valjean

      I believe that Jean Valjean is a dynamic character because he goes through changes throughout the book. Jean Valjean is a main character in the book les miserables he has gone through changes that no other character has done so. The character has gone through 3 major changes in the story so far.       Jean Valjean first change was when he met the bishop of Digne. He was a ex convict who was treated unfairly and did not care about any thing. He was a character that has lost all hope because of the way he was treated. One day he was looking for a place to stay but no one would take him in until a lady told him about the bishop and that he’ll help anyone who goes to him no matter who they are. Jean Valjean went of to the bishops home in look for hospitality. Once he arrive there he said who he was and why people denied him hospitality. WRITING ABOUT LIFE AND DEATH

     The story Katha Upanished was an allegory in my opinion because it has a meaning to the story. The meaning is that death doesn't like talking about people dying. Also that teenagers should be more like Katha because he was determined to find the answer and did not get bribed by death with all the things that would make many teens happy but all he wanted was the answer to death. The story of Kaths Upanishad is about a boy who wanted to know what happened to people when they died.      In the story there is a boy named Nachikita who wanted to be a sacrifice to the gods since he was the family’s most valued thing to be sacrificed. Soon he goes to go visit death and asks him wat happens when someone dies. The character of death was showed as a person That has the power to grant wishes which are called boons.
